Doris Faye Quackenbush, 83, Nevada, Mo., died on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with burial to follow in Virgil City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., prior to the service. Memorials to the Open Door Animal Sanctuary in House Springs, Mo., are suggested and may be made in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
