Vernon County residents sustain injuries in UTV crash

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle accident just after 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16, at Ball Road (five miles south of Rich Hill).

The accident occurred when a 2015 Canam utility vehicle navigated a turn too fast, causing the vehicle to overturn. Both occupants sustained injuries. Barbara M. Gift, 58-years-old, of Richards, Mo., was driving and sustained minor injuries. William D. Robinson, 59-years-old, of Rich Hill, Mo., was a passenger and sustained moderate injuries. Both occupants were transported by emergency medical services (EMS) to Nevada Regional Medical Center.
