Nevada Tigers made another win against Clinton
The Nevada Tigers were able to put a “W” in the records books on their first trip back to the hardwood after the holiday break. Going up against the Cardinals from Clinton, who they will later see in district play, the Tigers were able to end the 1st quarter of play up 20-8. By the end of the 2nd quarter, the Tigers still held the lead at 30-23, but after 3 quarters of play the Cardinals would take a 40-38 advantage, but Nevada would end up with a victory of 57-48. Jack Cheaney was the only Tiger to reach double figures with 20. Nevada would take all 3 games against the Cardinals with a convincing 60-18 win in the freshman game and a 46-25 win in the JV contest.
