Frances Marie Good

Frances Marie Good, age 91, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 22, 2024 in Nevada, MO. She was born February 8, 1933, in Milford, MO to Clifford Earl and Amanda Pearl (Gregg) Wells.

    Frances grew up in Milford, MO and graduated from high school in Raytown, MO. She spent all of her adult life in Nevada, MO where she worked in housekeeping at Cottey College for many years. Frances loved her flower garden, watching western movies, and was always there to help others. On August 25, 1951, she married William Clark Good in Independence, MO and together they raised two sons.

     Frances is survived by her son, Gary Good, Nevada, MO; grandchildren, Amanda Williams (Wade), Tulsa, OK, Justin Good, Nevada, MO, Amber Bravo, Nevada, MO and Craig Good, Springfield, MO; 13 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Good, a son, Bill Good, five brothers and five sisters.

     The funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, MO with burial to follow in Newton Burial Park.
