Battle of the Knights, Wheaton Knights versus NEVC Knights

It was the battle of the Knights on the Diamond Field Monday evening, April 8, when the Northeast Vernon County Knights hosted the Wheaton Knights. Though it wasn’t just a battle, it was a nail biter until the end of the extra inning. Wheaton got on the board by scoring three runs in the first inning while NEVC was able to answer back and score two runs. Wheaton came back in the second inning and was able to add another run to their score, but that didn’t stop the determination NEVC had by answering back and scoring two more runs to tie the game.
