Nevada Avenges December Loss to Harrisonville, 61-40

In a rematch of the Butler Tournament championship game just three weeks ago, Nevada would host a fellow Missouri Class 4 District 13 opponent in the 7-3 Harrisonville Wildcats on Tuesday night at Wynn Gymnasium.  Nevada came into the contest at 8-2, averaging 51 points per game while giving up 43 ppg on defense.  Meanwhile, the Wildcats were averaging 55 ppg on offense while allowing 51 ppg on defense.  Nevada, having won 7 out of the last 9 games between the two schools dating back to 2009, dropped the initial matchup to the Wildcats, 53-36, on December 21 earlier this season.
