Nevada postmaster to be selected by committee

The applicants for postmaster were out interviewing their friends again today, at least two or three were. It is now said that Congressman Shartel will leave the matter of appointing the Nevada post-master to the City Central Committee.

The Mail representative was informed today that a majority of the committee are not willing to shoulder the responsibility and that eight of the 10 committeemen favor a primary to settle the matter. It is reported that two of the applicants favor a primary while two others do no.

It is also reported that it is probable that Democrats of this city may be allowed to vote in the post-master primary.

If a primary should be decided upon by the City Central Committee a warm election will result.
