Vernon County's New Year's baby

Joe and Julie Heathman, Nevada, are the proud parents of Vernon County's New Year's Baby, Abigail Kay Heathman. Abigail was born in Nevada Regional Medical Center at 9:25 p.m. New Year's Day and weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19.75 inches long. Maternal grandparents, Jim and Deanna Giessel, Nevada and maternal great-grandmother Francies Myers, Blue Springs, along with paternal grandparents Tom and Shirley Heathman and Carol Heathman and paternal great-grandparents Edith Heathman and Paul and Anna Rapp, all of Nevada, welcomed the new member of the family.
