Alvin Daniel Hawes

Alvin Daniel Hawes, 77, Nevada, died Jan. 1, 2005. Services were held at the Pentecostal Assembly today, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. J.O. Howard officiating. Eulogy was given by Bobby Huffman. Singers were Tricia Brandt, Shelby Brandt, Jackie Hawes and Marie Huffman. Musical selections were "I'm Living in Canaan Now" and "It's Me Again Lord." Congregational hymns were "I'm Too Near Home to Turn Back Now" and "Heaven's Jubilee." Pallbearers were Stoney Brandt, Chase Brandt, Blake Engelage, Jonas Engelage, Ruston Hawes and Daniel Bruce. Interment was in Newton Burial Park. Military honors were provided by the National Guard Juliet Team from Joplin. Arrangements were by Ferry Funeral Home.
