Two Nevada grads play Saturday

Two former Nevada Tiger basketball teammates will be facing off Saturday when the Pittsburg State Gorillas travel to Bolivar to take on the Southwest Baptist University Bearcats.
Greg Campbell, a 2000 Nevada High School graduate, is a senior guard for the Gorillas (11-1 overall, 2-1 in MIAA) this season. Campbell averages 8.3 points per game and 3.6 rebounds, and also leads the team with 37 assists.
Chris Schulze, a 2001 NHS grad, is a senior post for the Bearcats (7-5, 1-2). Schulze averages 5.2 points per game and a team-high 6.3 rebounds.
The two starters are unlikely to actually matchup against each other on the court, as the 6-4 Campbell gives up eight inches to the 7-0 frame of Schulze.
It will be the first meeting between the two schools this season as they jockey for position in the tough Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
The Gorillas and Bearcats also will play in Pittsburg on Feb. 19.
The Gorillas are currently the 18th-ranked team in NCAA Division II men's basketball.
The game starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Meyer Sports Center.
