The Nevada Lady Tigers junior varsity beat Carthage Tuesday, 45-29 behind a balanced offensive attack.
Tori Miller and Jordan Scotten each scored 10 points to lead Nevada, while Erica Klinksick added eight and Kristen Badgley seven in the win.
Nevada jumped on Carthage early, outscoring the visitors 18-5 in the first period and never allowing them to get back in the game. Kylee Francis played a key role in the opening period as she scored all six of her points during the quick start.
The Nevada boys were not as fortunate, as they fell to Carthage 34-30.
