Chickenpox vaccine required for next year's kindergarten students
Nevada Daily Mail
The Missouri Department of Health has recently announced that all children who will be entering kindergarten in the 2005-'06 school year will be required to have the chickenpox vaccine or reliable proof that they have had the disease in order to attend school.
It is recommended that parents who have children who will enter kindergarten this fall start their child's immunizations now in order to have all of the required immunizations completed before school and preschool screenings.
Immunizations can be obtained from the Vernon County Health Department at no cost. The Health Department is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
