More than 30 young people from the community will present an adaptation of Roald Dahl's ageless story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Fox Playhouse this coming weekend.

Opening Friday, the play is being directed by Kim Bessey and will feature Cole Headrick in the leading role of Willy Wonka. The play will be presented on Friday, Jan. 28, and Saturday, Jan. 29, at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m.

"I'm so proud to be a part of this fantastic show. I couldn't be more proud of all of the actors. Thy have astounded me with how talented they are and how capable they are. No one will go away disappointed from this show," Bessey said.

Admission to the play is $5 for students and seniors and $6 for adults.
