Youth wrestlers place at Carthage

There were 22 Nevada youth wrestlers in Carthage Saturday, and 10 placed.

Nicholas Conner won first, Slade Stiles, Zach Shepherd, Jake Stevenson, Sam Ellifrits and Scotty Bough each got second. Jacob Johnson and Taylor Chapman both won third and Tanner Charles and Austin Denning each placed fourth.

Sunday there were 15 wrestlers in Adrian. Skyler Scotten, Regar Hardin, True Beisly, Colby Smith and Chandler Bird each won their divisions. Myles Miller, Colby Charles, Zane Shepherd and Brett Scott each placed second. Evan Irwin and Dustin Parker both placed third. Dylan Hyder, Timothy Clark and Daxtyn Osburn all got fourth.

On Jan. 15, Slade Stiles got first, Jake Stevenson second and Scotty Bough fourth in Carl Junction.
