Before Thursday the 1,500-point club at Nevada High School had one Lady Tiger member -- Lori Nichols.
That changed with 6:36 left in the first half of Nevada's 65-41 win over El Dorado Springs. With a steal and a layup, Nevada senior Hillary Adams joined Nichols on the exclusive list.
The points didn't come easy and even the milestone-setting basket was hard to come by as Adams was body-checked while laying it in, sending her tumbling onto the floor.
After the play Adams did what she usually does. She got up, hit the free throw and kept on scoring.
At the end of the night the senior had 25 points and the team had its 17th win of the season.
"It's an accomplishment," Adams said after the game. "I'm happy. I feel blessed to be able to do that."
Adams said the mark was attributed to the success her team has had over the past four years.
"It's a great program and I don't think I'd be able to do it without everyone involved," she said.
Adams said joining Nichols in the club made it special.
"I watched Lori when I was little, all the time," Adams said. "I wanted to be just like Lori Nichols when I was older."
Adams, who had moved into second-place on the all-time scoring list Tuesday at Pleasant Hill, will end up as the number-two scorer in Nevada history when her career is over, barring an impossible 700-point barrage in the last month of the season.
Nichols holds the top mark with over 2,200 points.
Adams is content with her spot on the list.
"I'm happy with that," she said. "I don't need anything more than that."
With the scoring milestones now behind her, Adams said she can now focus on achieving more team goals.
"I'm just going to focus on finishing the season with wins," she said.
