Youth wrestlers visit Webb City for tourney

There were 15 wrestlers who traveled to Webb City to participate in a tournament Feb. 5.

Eleven of the wrestlers placed, as Jacob Johnson, Daxtyn Osburn and Jake Stevenson each won their classes.

Getting second place were True Beisly and Sam Ellifrits.

Finishing third were Dylan Hyder, Colby Smith, Tanner Charles and Todd Brier.

Fourth-place finishers were Slade Stiles and Chase Brooks.

Also wrestling Feb. 6 in a tournament was Scotty Bough, who placed fourth as a Nevada representative in Lee's Summit.

On Sunday there was a novice tournament, also in Webb City.

Skyler Scotten, Regar Hardin and True Beisly each won classes at the novice tournament.

Placing second were Chance Mays and Slade Stiles.

Getting third were Dylan Hyder and Timothy Clark.

Myles Miller, Colby Charles and Tristan Smith each placed fourth.

Brett Scott came home with a fifth-place finish.

The next youth tournament is Saturday in Seneca.
