Tiger track runs in PSU relays

The Nevada High School track team competed in the Pittsburg State University Relays Friday, and two of their seven relay teams placed third.

The girls 800-meter relay team of Brittany Pettibon, Bridget Baldwin, Afton Baldwin and Katelyn Brier placed third with a time of 1 minute, 52.94 seconds.

The girls 400-meter team comprised of the same athletes also placed third with a time of 53.22 seconds.

The girls 1600-meter relay was fifth and the boys 3200-meter relay team placed sixth.

The Tiger track squad will be competing again at Lawrence, Kan., on April 22.
