Calvary Eagles compete in Grandview Invite

The Calvary Eagles track team participated in the Grandview Christian School Invitational Saturday against 15 other schools.
The Eagles had several athletes place in their events.
Tyler Borders won the shot put with a throw of 45-6 1/2, the only first place of the day for the Eagles.
Borders also was eighth in the discus, and ran in the 200 meters.
Tim Wallace was second in the 400 with a time of 52.75 seconds.
Wallace also was seventh in the triple jump and 10th in the discus.
Scott Borders placed third in the 400 with a 53.22. He was also fifth in the long jump, third in the triple jump and competed in the discus.
Devan Scougal was ninth in both the 800 and 1600. Scougal also entered the long jump and triple jump.
Calvary was in Springfield Tuesday but the results were not yet available.
The Eagles will next compete in Springfield again Saturday.
