Fast-Gullett third in tourney

The doubles tennis team of Derek Fast and Adam Gullett placed third at the Thomas Jefferson Invitational Friday. Fast and Gullett were playing in the number-two doubles bracket.

That was the best finish for Nevada which ended up sixth out of eight teams in the tournament.

Thomas Jefferson won.

Nevada's Justdan Lockwood placed sixth in number-one singles, and Taylor Hall placed fifth in number-two singles. Nevada was in Harrisonville for a tournament Saturday.
