Small schools announce All-Conference

The small schools in the area announced the All-Conference selections recently.

The Golden Valley/Vernon County Conference South Division team included nine local players and three local honorable mentions.

Bronaugh, Hume and Northeast Vernon County each had three selections to the All-Conference team. The three schools also each had a single honorable mention.

In Hume, Justin Wehar, Wyatt Hale and Matthew Sears were each selected to the team.

In Northeast Vernon County, Dexter Patton, Travis Sanderson and Steve Koshko were all named.

In Bronaugh, Tyler Judd, Alex Gordon and Mitch Topping were each honored.

The honorable mentions were Kyle Riley of Bronaugh, Kirk Haddix of NEVC and James Salters of Hume.

The only other two selections to the South Division team were Travis Munsterman and Garret Cook of Montrose.

The selections were released Wednesday.
