Dog show kicks off Bushwhacker festivities

Give Me Five -- Andy Oleske and Star Puppy performed during the talent contest of the WAGS Bushwhacker Dog Show Wednesday afternoon, winning first place. Oleske and Star Puppy performed last year, and at that time Oleske said that Star Puppy, who was bred to herd cattle, came to Nevada from a cattle ranch in the state of Nevada and he has trained her to do 35 different tricks. Photographs were taken of the contestants and will be given to area 4-H members who will write letters to troops in Iraq, telling them about Bushwhacker Days.
