Tigers face tall order
Nevada Daily Mail
The Nevada Tigers will try to win their second consecutive Southwest Conference road game tonight when they take on Neosho.
The Tigers are coming off a 61-44 road win at Carthage Tuesday, improving their overall record to 9-4, 2-1 in the league.
Neosho is trying to recover from a non-conference loss against Logan Rogersville, Tuesday, which dropped them to 1-17. The Wildcats are still looking for their first Southwest Conference win of the season.
The game is vital for Nevada if they wish to stay in the league race, as Webb City has yet to lose an SWC game.
Game action is scheduled to begin in Neosho at 6 p.m., with the junior varsity teams playing first. The varsity game will follow at approximately 7:15 p.m.
The Nevada Lady Tigers are not playing tonight, as they visited Neosho on Dec. 20, losing 57-40.
The Lady Tigers will hit the court Tuesday in their own tournament as they host El Dorado Springs at approximately 6:30 p.m.
The boys will also be hosting a tournament next week, with their first game coming against Humansville at approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday. The Tiger/Lady Tiger Classic will begin Monday and run through Saturday.
