Bronaugh boys and girls fall

The Bronaugh Wildcats and Lady Wildcats both lost games Friday.

The Wildcats fell to Liberal and the Lady Wildcats couldn't get by Galena, both at the Liberal Tournament.

The Wildcats fell 54-35, dropping them to 4-9 this season.

Bronaugh stayed with the hosts for the first three quarters, before a 19-6 period gave Liberal the win. A pair of Nick Judd 3-pointers were all the Wildcats could muster offensively in the final period.

Judd led the team with 13 points, the only Wildcat in double figures.

Liberal had a balanced attack with 10 players scoring, none in double figures.

The Lady Wildcats lost 37-34, as a late comeback wasn't enough. Bronaugh outscored Galena 15-8 in the final period.

Stormi Wilson led the Lady Wildcats with 10 points.
