Barbara Sue Ramsey

Barbara Sue Ramsey, 51, Nevada, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, at Christian Health Care in Nevada following a lengthy illness. She was born Aug. 18, 1954, in Nevada, to Roy Lee Ramsey and Dortha Mae Pope Ramsey.

Barbara grew up in Nevada and attended Nevada schools. She lived her whole lifetime in Nevada.

Survivors include her mother, Dortha Ramsey, Nevada; three sisters, Shirley Bass, Republic, Mo., Sharon Lamb and Nancy Sanders, both of Nevada; one brother, Richard Ramsey, Stockton, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Moore Cemetery, Nevada, with John Nichols officiating. Friends may call now and until 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Those who wish may contribute to Children's Mercy Hospital in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
