State Representative Barney Fisher, R-125, has announced that on April 25, several Missouri state representatives are sponsoring Missouri Artists' Day at the State Capitol.

The four corners of the third floor rotunda of the capitol have been reserved the entire day for artists to display their works.

The exhibits will be set up between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and will continue throughout the day.

A light lunch reception is also planned, in Representative Steve Hunter's capitol office, Room 314, at 11:30 a.m., in honor of the artists.

Fisher said, "We were able to reserve 20 tables and 40 chairs. These tables and chairs will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call Beth in my office (800) 382-4123 or Sue in Rep. Hunter's office (573) 751-5458, to reserve your display," urging local artists to enjoy a day at the state capitol.
