Reception planned for new R-5 superintendent
The school board will get its first chance to interact outside the interview process with its incoming superintendent, Craig Noah, at a reception to be held in March.
During a meeting Wednesday night, members of the Nevada R-5 School Board were told that the new superintendent, Craig Noah, and his family would be coming to a reception held in their honor March 8, at 3:15 p.m., in the high school commons area.
"It will give him a chance to meet with faculty, staff and members of the community," Superintendent Ted Davis said.
Noah will take over the post of superintendent on July 1, when Davis plans to retire after 33 years in education, 11 of them as superintendent of R-5 schools. Noah is currently serving his third year as superintendent of Missouri's Trenton R-9 schools.
He and his wife, Julie, have four children.
