State wrestling qualifiers

Five local youth qualified for the state wrestling tournament by placing in the top four at regionals in Ozark Saturday. The five members of the Nevada Youth Wrestling Club who will be competing in Columbia beginning Friday are: (front, from left) Regar Hardin, second place, 8-and-under 65 pounds; Slade Stiles, third place, 12-and-under 60 pounds; (back row) Todd Brier, fourth place, 14-and-under 140 pounds; Ben Slates, third place, 14-and-under 275 pounds; Sam Ellifrits, second place, 12-and-under 190 pounds. There were 12 total NYWC members competing at regionals. The others were: (not pictured) Joshua Hadler, True Beisly (fifth place), Tanner Charles, Zach Shepherd (fifth place), Gage Brooks, Colby Smith (fifth place) and Trevor Fast.
