Nevada JV golfers win

The Nevada Tiger junior varsity golfers beat Girard, Kan., in a dual Thursday at Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course.

Sam Moore shot 44, Brandon Davis 46, Steph Krohn 50, Matt Mock 52 and Raymond Griffin 61 as they won 192-224. Nevada's B-team shot 207 with Nathan Herren's 45 and Kyle Ledbetter's 49 leading the way in the nine-hole event.
