Neptunes compete in Parsons meet

The Nevada Neptunes were in Parsons, Kan., over the weekend for a swim meet, with Dustin Long winning a pair of events.
Long won the boys age 15-18, 50-yard backstroke and the 50 freestyle. The backstroke was in a time of 30.08 seconds, while the freestyle was a time of 24.95.
The relay team of Johnny Quitno, Jesse Claypool, Andrew Messick and Andrew Quitno placed second in the boys 10-and-under, 100 medley relay.
The team of Brooke Munsterman, Shelby Thorns, Caitlyn Cable and Madison Harms was third in the girls age 11-12, 200 medley relay.
The same team was third in the 200 freestyle relay as well.
The team of Hunter Richmond, Lori Lile, Emma Eldred and Megan Hold were fifth in the girls 10-and-under, 100 freestyle relay.
Maddie McCaffree was third in the girls 6-and-under, 25 freestyle event.
Johnny Quitno was sixth in the boys 8-and-under, 25 freestyle and seventh in the 50 freestyle.
Morgan Hold was third in the boys age 11-12, 50 freestyle and the 50 breaststroke.
Andrew Messick was third in the boys 10-and-under, 50 butterfly.
Lucas Denman placed second in the boys age 11-12, 100 freestyle, and was fourth in the 50 breaststroke.
Jesse Claypool was second in the boys 10-and-under, 50 breaststroke.
Shelby Thorns was fourth in the girls age 11-12, 50 breaststroke and Brooke Munsterman was fifth in the same race.
Rachel Savage was seventh in the girls age 13-14, 50 butterfly.
In B Division competition:
Garrett Forester was third in the boys 6-and-under, 25 freestyle and third in the 25 backstroke.
Megan Hold was third in the girls 8-and-under, 25 freestyle, while Lori Lile was eighth. Hold was also second in the 25 breaststroke.
Carlie McCaffree was fifth in the girls 6-and-under, 25 freestyle, and Haiden Richmond was sixth.
Andrew Messick was third in the boys 10-and-under, 50 freestyle and third in the 100 freestyle.
Jesse Claypool was fifth in the boys 10-and-under, 50 freestyle and second in the 100 individual medley.
Shelby Thorns was third in the girls age 11-12, 50 freestyle.
Rachel Savage was second in the girls age 13-14, 50 freestyle and second in the 50 backstroke.
Emma Eldred was sixth in the girls 8-and-under, 25 backstroke and Megan Hold was ninth.
Carlie McCaffree was third in the girls 6-and-under, 25 backstroke, while Peyton Claypool was sixth and Maddie McCaffree seventh.
Andrew Quitno was fourth in the boys 10-and-under, 50 backstroke and fourth in the 50 breaststroke.

Seth Turner was sixth in the boys 10-and-under, 50 butterfly.
Morgan Hold was second in the boys age 11-12, 50 butterfly.
Brooke Munsterman was fourth in the girls age 11-12, 50 butterfly, while Madison Harms was fifth and Michele Forester was eighth.
