Stewart and Felt Wed
Megan Dawn Stewart and Kenneth Paul Felt were married at 5 p.m., June 3, at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Uniontown, Kan.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and the late Debbie Stewart, Bronson, Kan. She is a 2003 graduate of Uniontown High School and will graduate in December 2007, from Pittsburg State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Marketing. She is employed by The Medicine Shoppe in Pittsburg.
The bride wore a white Maggie Sottero strapless dress, with a cathedral train.
Charity Guilfoyle, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Ashley Reeder, Maegan Easter and Lacy Ermel served as bridesmaids.
The groom is the son of Rick Felt, Farlington, and Dena Felt, Uniontown. He is a 2001 graduate of UHS and a 2005 graduate of PSU with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, with an emphasis in photojournalism. He is the director of event photography at Captured Images.
The groom and his groomsmen wore black tuxedos with Converse Chuck Taylor basketball shoes. C.K. Smith, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Jon Eden, cousin of the groom, Todd Reeder and Jeremy Neville, friends of the groom, served as groomsmen.
Luke Smith, cousin of the groom, served as ring bearer. Emma Lawson, cousin of the bride, and Madalyn Ehlers, friend of the groom, were flower girls.
The Rev. Marshall Lackrone, uncle of the bride, officiated. Greg and Cari Fess, friends of the couple, provided vocal solos. Elaine Lackrone, aunt of the bride, served as pianist.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Ward residence in Uniontown. The couple then honeymooned in Dillon, Colo.
They reside in Pittsburg, Kan.
