City to host meeting for owners of property on the Square

On July 13, in the wake of a disaster in Clinton in which a structure housing the Clinton Elks Lodge collapsed, killing one and injuring several others, the city conducted a meeting for property owners relating to issues on the Square in Nevada.

A follow-up meeting is slated for 5:15 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 31, in the city's public safety meeting at 120 S. Ash, to continue the discussions of the previous meeting and update the participants on current grants relating to the Nevada Square.
