The Nevada Lady Tigers continued their winning ways on the road Thursday, as they drubbed Southwest Conference foe Neosho 25-9, 25-21.

Brittany Crockett had six kills to lead Nevada, while Emma Dreyer and Amanda Wilson each had six assists. Ashleigh Bryson led the team with five blocks and Bethany Brower added four kills.

For Nevada, it was their sixth straight non-tournament win to start the season (6-0 overall, 3-0 in the Southwest Conference). Neosho fell to 1-6, 1-2.

"We put together a whole game," Nevada head coach Trudy Fleeman said. "We played well both games."

Fleeman said the team's focus was improved, after needing three games to get by McDonald County earlier in the week.

"I think we're picking up a lot of tips and putting together a whole game. Everyone's on the same page," she said.

The junior varsity and freshman teams also won.

The JV needed three games but won 25-14, 20-25, 25-21.

The freshman team swept, 25-14, 25-16.

The Lady Tigers will be at Pleasant Hill for a nonconference match Monday. The battle will have utmost importance for both teams as they will be fighting for seeding position in the district tournament at the end of the season.
