The Hume Hornets continued a good start to the fall baseball season by dropping Leeton recently, 10-1.
Senior Caleb Franklin had four RBIs to pace Hume, and sophomore Andy Yarick had two.
Sophomore hurler Ryan Austin pitched a complete game to get the victory, his third of the season. Austin has given up only three runs in 19 innings pitched in the fall season. Meanwhile the Hornets have scored 31 runs during those same 19 innings.
Hume is now 3-1 as they reach the midway point of the fall season.
