Cottey to present 'Fefu and her friends'

As part of the Family Weekend festivities, the Cottey College theater department will present "Fefu and her Friends."

The production of Maria Irene Fornes' Obie Award-winning play is about eight friends and their shared attempt to help one of their number.

The L.A. Weekly said that it was, "One of the most powerful plays written about the mysteries and shared hallucinations of the female experience."

The curtain will rise at 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 29, and Saturday, Sept. 30, in the auditorium of the Haidee and Allen Wild Center for the Arts. The play features Cottey actresses under the direction of Michael Denison.

Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for those under age 18 or older than age 62. Tickets will be available at the door the nights of the show.

The Center for the Arts is on the northeast corner of Austin and Tower Streets, Nevada.
