Meet me at the flag

Youth pastors in the Nevada area were excited Wednesday morning when local youth led prayer for the annual "See you at the pole" event. This year's theme asked students to: Be still and reflect on God. That is exactly what they did. (Below, left) Students at St. Mary's gathered around their flag pole Wednesday, joining schools across the nation as part of the campaign. (Right and below, right) Nevada High School students did their part as well. Other area schools, including Northeast Vernon County and Nevada Middle school also participated.
