Earl J. Beisner
Earl J. Beisner, age 93, of Carl Junction, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006, at his home. Earl was born Nov. 17, 1912, in Lockwood, Mo., the son of the late Fred and Nora Lasater Beisner. He married Olive Delores Bittick on July 15, 1934, in Joplin. She preceded him in death on Dec. 13, 1988.
He graduated high school in 1930 in Newman Grove, Neb. He then moved to southwest Missouri, and lived in the Joplin and Webb City area until retiring in 1974, at which time he moved to Grand Lake, Okla. He moved back to Carl Junction in 2006. He and his brother, Don, owned and operated Beisner Brother's Painting for over 40 years in Joplin.
Survivors include two sons, Tom Beisner, and wife Mickie, of Carl Junction, and Jerry Beisner, and wife Jaxcene, of El Dorado Springs, Mo.; a sister, Micky Smith of Arizona; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Earl was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Richard; and three brothers, Howard, Ralph, and Don.
Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 13, at 1 p.m., in Parker Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Bob Simon officiating. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
