Josephine Ochsner Jarvis

Josephine Ochsner Jarvis passed away Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at the Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, Mo., at the age of 79. She was born Feb. 24, 1927, in Rich Hill, Mo., the daughter of Joseph and Ruth (Morris) Ochsner.

Josephine was loved and will be missed by everyone.

She is survived by five children, Betty Fuentes, Carthage, Mo., Barbara Anderson, Sheldon, Mo., Ralph Ragan and wife Nancy, Peculiar, Mo., Francis Gnader, Fresno, Calif., and William Jarvis, Nevada; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband John, parents, one grandson, four sisters, and five brothers.

Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m., at the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, with Bill Perkey officiating. Musical selections were "Beyond the Sunset," "Mansion Over the Hilltop" and "Roses for Mama." Pallbearers were Earl Spillman, Juan Fuentes Sr., Lonnie Lowery, Bryan Latty, Jim Overton and Larry Scism. Interment was in Green Lawn Cemetery, Rich Hill.
