Area holiday closings

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has announced that driver examination stations throughout the state will be closed Monday, Dec. 25 and Monday, Jan. 1. Normal operations will resume on the Tuesdays following these holidays.

The Nevada Public Library will be closed Saturday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Dec. 25; and Saturday, Dec. 30, through Monday, Jan. 1.

The city of Nevada will close its offices at 11:30 a.m., today, and will reopen at 9 a.m. Dec. 26.

County offices will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

The Nevada Daily Mail offices will be closed on Dec. 25 and on Jan. 1. No Daily Mail will be published Tuesday, Dec. 26, nor Tuesday, Jan. 2.
