Nevada releases Classic schedules

Nevada High School recently released the schedule for the Tiger and Lady Tiger Classics later this month.

The Tiger Classic will feature six teams, split into two pools. Pool A will have the Nevada varsity, Kansas City Renaissance Academy and El Dorado Springs. Pool B will feature the Nevada junior varsity, Carthage and Kansas City's Southeast.

Boys' games begin Monday, Jan. 22, at Wynn Gymnasium with Carthage playing Southeast and El Dorado Springs playing Renaissance.

Nevada's teams play Wednesday, Jan. 24, when the JV takes on Southeast, and the varsity plays El Dorado Springs.

The JV boys also play Carthage Thursday, Jan. 25. The varsity boys also play Renaissance on Friday, Jan. 26.

The championship, third place and fifth place games will be Saturday, Jan. 27.

The girls' tournament has a full eight team bracket (see Right) with play Tuesday, Jan. 23, Thursday, Jan. 25, Friday, Jan. 26, and Saturday, Jan. 27.
