Group promoting law enforcement tax holds informational reception

Local citizens sought out information and had the opportunity to chat with one another and with county officials about the proposed 1/2-cent law enforcement tax to appear before voters on the April ballot. Thursday evening, Vernon County Citizens for Law Enforcement offered information and accepted donations during the event, conducted in a banquet room at Greenfield's Harvest House restaurant in Nevada.
