Frances P. Messer

Frances P. Messer, 93, Neosho, Mo., died at 8:13 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, 2007, at Freeman Neosho Hospital in Neosho. Frances was born Aug. 28, 1913, in Nevada, Mo., and moved to Neosho in 1937 from Nevada.

Frances taught in one room country schools and had worked in the pharmacy of the former Sale Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Cburch in Neosho.

She is survived by a sister, Patsy Sue Herring, Neosho; a nephew, Rocky Herring, Walker, Mo.; and a niece, Janice Verden, Las Vegas, Nev. She is preceded in death by her husband, William T. Musser, in 1969; and two sons, Larry Francis Messer and Billy Bob Messer.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m., at the Gibson Cemetery, Neosho, with Buddy Funk officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
