MFA first in county to offer E85 fuel

MFA Oil sold E85 gasoline for only 85 cents between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m, as a promotion in celebration of the new offering, Friday. E85 is a mixture of ethanol and gasoline, comprised of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. MFA is reportedly the first station in Vernon County to offer the product. Members of the Nevada/Vernon County Chamber of Commerce were on hand to cut a ribbon in front of the new pump.
