JV golfers win at home

The Nevada Tiger junior varsity golf team beat El Dorado Springs and Girard, Kan., in a triangular at Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course.

Nevada's nine-hole team score of 214 was 16 better than El Do and 18 lower than Girard.

Raymond Griffin led all golfers with a 50, while teammate Steph Krohn shot 51.

Trevor Miller shot 55 and Austin DeBrine 58 to round out the Tiger scores.

The Tiger varsity hosts Lamar Tuesday.
