Nevada hosts 9/10 meet

NEVADA -- The Nevada track teams held a meet for grades 9/10 at Testman Field Tuesday.
There were five girls with individual wins, and two relay victories. The boys had one win in a relay.

Maria Mock won the 100 meters with a time of 13.50 seconds, and also won the 200 with a 28.00.
Mock also teamed with Kristen Kitsmiller, Lauren Klinksick and Melanie Messick to win the 400 and 800 meter relays. The 400 time was 55.80 and the 800 time was 1:55.00.
Klinksick also won the 800 in a time of 2:43.90 and the long jump.
Messick also won the triple jump.
Kitsmiller was second in the long jump and the 200.
The 3,200 meter relay team of Emily Watts, Allie Query, Daven Smith and Klinksick placed second.
Lauren Dockery was fourth in the triple jump and fifth in the long jump.
Felicia Keller took third in the pole vault, and Query was third in the 3,200.
Wendy Lyda was third in both the 100 and 200.
Stephanie Mosbrucker was fourth in the high jump.
Lindsey Leachman was fourth in the shot put, while Meghan Ledbetter took sixth. Ledbetter also placed sixth in the discus.
On the boys' side, the 800 relay team of Brandon Munsterman, Cole Ogle, Casey Long and Mark Weatherly won with a time of 1:44.50. The same team was second in the 400 relay.
Dusty Houghkick placed second in both the 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles.
Munsterman was second in the 200.
Todd Brier took fourth in the 800, and Long was fourth in the triple jump.
Brier also placed fifth in the 3,200, and Anthony Davis was fifth in the 100.
Joshua Threlkeld placed sixth in the 400.
The 1,600 relay team of Long, Munsterman, Anthony Davis and Pat Harper placed third.
