Irwin Frank "Butch" Zoglmann

Irwin Frank "Butch" Zoglmann, 81, Milo, Mo., passed away on Friday, April 20, 2007, at his home in Milo. He was born December 20, 1925, in Mt. Vernon, Kan., to Leonard Henry Zoglmann and Josephine Anna Struck Zoglmann. He married Wanda Lee Wright on Oct. 11, 1948, in Kansas. She preceded him in death in 1993.

Butch grew up in Conway Springs, Kan. He came to Milo in October 1959, where he has lived ever since that time farming all his life. Butch was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a member and founder of the Milo Fire Department for 20 years. He was also a board member and past fire chief.

Survivors include five children, Jeanne Baldwin and her husband, Ted, Nevada, Leonard Zoglmann and his wife, Kathy, Nevada, Steve Zoglmann and his wife, Deb, Nevada, John Zoglmann and his wife, Janet, Milo, and Geri McInroy and her husband, Rick, Nevada; 13 grandchildren, Damon Klotz and his wife, Kim, Florissant, Mo., Scott Baldwin and his wife, Missy, Indiana, David Baldwin and his wife, Tosha, Milo, Brooke Gotschall and her husband, Brantlee, Nevada, Kael Zoglmann and his wife, Lisa, Bronaugh, Emily Zoglmann, Springfield, Shawn Zoglmann, Nevada, Jaclyn Jenkins and her husband, Charlie, Nevada, Jeremy Zoglmann and his wife, Mindy, and Justin Zoglmann all of Milo, Nathan McInroy and his wife Brandi, Nevada, Zach McInroy and his wife, Lanette, Moundville, and Aaron McInroy, Nevada resident currently stationed in Iraq; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cletus Zoglmann and Virgil Zoglmann, Conway Springs, Kan.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; one brother; and one daughter, Cindy Louise Zoglmann in 1964.

Mass Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., on Tuesday, April 24, at St. Mary's Christian Church, Nevada, with interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Nevada. Friends may call now until 9:30 a.m., Tuesday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., on Monday evening at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Milo Fire Department, P.O. Box 1, Milo, MO, or St. Mary's PTO school or charity of donor's choice.
