Norris has ace

Paul Norris, 16, of Fort Scott, Kan., collected a hole in one at Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course Saturday.

The ace was hit at Hole 18. Norris made the 173-yard shot using a 5-iron.

Norris was playing in the Fort Scott Christian Heights School tournament when he hit the shot. The tournament is a fund-raiser that was being held at Frank E. Peters.

It was the first hole in one ever hit by Norris.

The shot was witnessed by Jeff Norris, Brad Cowen and Robert Uhler.
