The Nevada Griffons open their 2007 schedule with a road date in Springfield June 1.

The first home game is the following day, June 2, when the Griffons host the Newton County Rebels at 6 p.m..

The Griffons will be home all but three weekends during the 2007 slate.

Nevada hosts the Joplin Slashers June 3, then host new Jayhawk League member Dodge City June 8-10.

The following weekend the Griffons host El Dorado (Kan.) and the Wichita Gators.

The first weekend to have the Griffons on the road is June 22-24. The Griffons will be in Liberal (Kan.) June 22-23, then visit Dodge City for a doubleheader June 24.

The annual Champion Diamonds NBC qualifying tournament is June 30-July 4.

The following weekend the Griffons will be hosting the Wichita Wee Kings July 7, but then visit Wichita July 8.

The Liberal BeeJays will be in town July 13-15.

The Griffons are on the road the final weekend of the regular season, July 20-22, when they visit Hays (Kan.).

The Griffons will once again have numerous sponsored nights, where admission to the game at Lyons Stadium is free.

Parents Weekend is June 15-17.

The annual memorabilia auction is tentatively scheduled for July 24, a Tuesday, when the Griffons host the Joplin Slashers in a doubleheader.

Fan Appreciation Night is July 26, a single home game against the Slashers.

The Griffons currently have 59 regular season games scheduled, not including the NBC qualifier.

There are 31 home games and 28 road dates.

The Griffons are scheduled to play 15 doubleheaders, with eight of those at home.

The dates with home doubleheaders are: June 9, June 14, June 16, June 26, June 27, July 12, July 14 and July 24.

Other home dates are: June 2, June 3, June 5, June 8, June 10, June 12, June 15, June 17, July 7, July 11, July 13, July 15, July 17, July 26 and July 27.
