Sheldon High School graduation

Sheldon Valedictorian Katlyn Logan gave a heartwarming speech Saturday to fellow graduates in the school's gymnasium. Logan's topic was taking advantage of life's opportunities. She read the poem by an anonymous author "I'm Drinking From the Saucer Because My Cup has Overflowed."

Students from Sheldon High School graduated on Saturday, before a crowd of hundreds in the Sheldon High School gymnasium. The crowd was hushed as valedictorian Katlyn Logan delivered her address on taking advantage of life's opportunities. Logan also read the poem by an anonymous author, "I'm Drinking From the Saucer Because My Cup has Overflowed."

Salutatorian Ashley Leininger spoke about Walt Disney and his method of operating his empire.

Sheldon Salutatorian Ashley Leininger wore a pair of Mickey Mouse ears while giving her address to Sheldon's graduating class Saturday, May 19 in the school's gymnasium. Leininger spoke about Walt Disney and his method of operating his empire.

Many traditions were observed during the ceremony, along with some special touches meant just for the class of 2007. Debbie Metcalf gave the graduating students at Sheldon High School a unique present during her speech, reading a poem she had written for them.
