All items were free at this yard sale

Wayne and I had a great yard sale on Friday, we got rid of almost everything, it was a joy, our yard sale was all FREE. We did have some real good stuff; now our garage looks much better. The best part was we didn't have to mark a price on anything.

Margie Breneman wants to thank all those who sent cards for their wedding anniversary recently, Madge said she told her recently to have me put the thank you in my items.  Madge said Margie keeps in touch with so many that she knows more of what is going on around Nevada than she does. Margie those cell phones are wonderful aren't they.

Genevieve Guinn had a great mother's day, her sons Jeff and Brad (with some help from their daughter's Abbey and Karly) cooked the whole meal for Chuck, Genevieve and Pam. Jeff and Pam had been to the University of Missouri to pick up Abbey Guinn after she finished her first year there in college.

Genevieve said Lawrence Cripps had been out working on the garden.

Wayne and I ate in three different counties on Saturday. Beginning with breakfast at Sunrise restaurant in Nevada with Doris and Stanley Rynard and Norm and Joe Sloniker, then at noon we went to Fort Scott to take Wayne's sister Norma Vacca out to Wendy's. We then took her to the new Wal-Mart since it's rather hard for her to find things in the new place. Wayne showed her all around. That evening we met Carol and David Gaines at Chicken Mary's for supper (I was pretty depressed when I got on the scales the next day) it was a good day anyway.

Sunday Shirley Zehr and I enjoyed a visit from our cousin Judy Hudson of Windsor area, her daughter Debby, her sons Gavin and Cory of Columbia. They came to bring flowers to the cemetery.

Saturday evening Ruth and Terry Wheatley, Pam and Bob Wingate, Chris and Roberta Sage and Zeke and Anita Bauer all went to American Heartland Theater at Crown Center for a show.

Friday E.J. Wingate came to Rich Hill for his ball practice and spent the night with Grandma Pam and Grandpa Bobby. Later, he spent Saturday night with Grandma Patty and Grandpa Wayne Vacca going to church with them.

Sunday Pam and Bob enjoyed dinner after services at their church.

Little Hannah White spent Tuesday with us. She heard us saying something about going to town for repairs for a sink, so here she came up with Wal-Mart shopping. Wayne blames me for teaching her to shop at Wal-Mart. I said just wait until she learns about Kohl's. She enjoyed having lunch at Burger King. We got out of town before she thought again of Wal-Mart.
