Government offices closed for July 4

Several local government offices and services will be closed for the July 4 holiday, but plan to reopen for business as usual on July 5.

The Nevada Housing Authority, city of Nevada offices, county offices, Nevada Public Library and Missouri State Highway Patrol driver testing stations have all reported plans to close for the holiday.

The Nevada Daily Mail/Nevada News offices in Nevada also will be closed on Wednesday, and will reopen at 8 a.m., Thursday. No Wednesday, July 4, edition will be printed.
